The fire department went deep into Petrochemical sites to carry out actual fire fighting drills

In order to further enhance the ability of the army to deal with emergencies in flammable and explosive places, improve the actual combat level of fire fighting and rescue of fire officers and soldiers, and make full preparations for fire fighting and rescue. On May 11, the Fire Department of Congjiang County, Guizhou Province went deep into the key units under its jurisdiction to Beishang gas station to carry out fire fighting and rescue practice.

During this period, Congjiang fire department was familiar with the key parts and fire-fighting facilities of the gas station. The drill assumes that a fuel dispenser leaks oil due to improper operation of employees in the gas station, resulting in a fire, which is an emergency. After receiving the alarm, Congjiang fire immediately sent 3 fire engines and 14 fire officers and soldiers to the scene for disposal. According to the situation, the fire crew set up two water gun positions in the refueling area, and two groups of foam guns and one mobile water cannon fire were put out in the battle group. The two group used the water gun to screen. The alert and evacuation team shall evacuate irrelevant personnel and vehicles in the gas station quickly. In the whole exercise process, the battle was carried out rapidly, the order was orderly, and the team cooperated closely, which achieved the expected exercise effect.

Through this drill, we will further strengthen practical training and improve our familiarity with the situation of key units under our jurisdiction and our fire disposal ability.
